Wadia Group Awarded as the “Best Group in CSR Practices”
It is a matter of great pride and honour to share that Wadia Group has been awarded with the prestigious award for ‘Best Group in CSR Practices’ at CSR Leadership awards at the 24th World CSR congress, the event was organised at the Taj Lands End Hotel in Mumbai on 18th February 2016. Dr. Minnie Bodhanwala, CEO of Wadia Hospitals, received the award on behalf of the Wadia Group from “Sharon M. Jackson’ Founder and Director of European Sustainability Academy (ESA).
The event saw over 2400 professionals from 140 countries to attendance. Representatives from several Indian companies like Tata, Reliance, Adani, Yes Bank, Vodafone, SBI, Union Bank, JSW, JK, Welspun, Wockhardt etc. were also present for the event.
Wadia Group’s active contribution through BIL, BDM, BBTCL, NPL, Go Airlines and Nowrosjee Wadia& Sons to the rebuilding and upgradation of the Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Britannia Nutrition Foundation, The Sir Ness Foundation, Disaster relief work in the State of Jammu and Kashmir and Chennai has been acknowledged and appreciated in form of this prestigious award.
